Speaking on behalf of the group, Chief Barisuka Beteh, the community president, acknowledged the government’s extensive work in delivering people-centered infrastructure through the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, under the leadership of ESV Moses Teibowei.

Highlighting several major projects—including the three senatorial roads, Glory Drive Phases 1 & 2, Opolo-Elebele Road, and AIT/Igbogene Outer Ring Road—Chief Beteh emphasized that these initiatives would significantly boost socio-economic activities and foster prosperity for all. He also commended the government for the landmark development underway at New Yenagoa City.

In recognition of his contributions to Bayelsa’s development, the Rivers State Community in Bayelsa resolved to honor the Commissioner with an “Excellent Service Award.” Additionally, they presented a letter of appointment, officially naming him their patron, while also appreciating Governor Diri for appointing two of their sons into his Prosperity Administration—reaffirming their continuous support for the government.

Speaking on behalf of the administration, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, Mr. Ferdinand Ozim, firmly stated that the community stands against any divisive agenda that could threaten the peace and progress of the state, which has fueled the current pace of development.

In his response, ESV Moses Teibowei, ascribed all glory to God, crediting the governor’s visionary leadership for the ministry’s successes.

He further emphasized that Governor Diri understands the challenges of Bayelsa State as well as the back of his palm, making him fully committed to meeting the people’s needs.
